ARTISTIC APPROACH

In her creative approach, Elena Albu  goes through revealing experiences: she get in contact with abstract expressionism, the technique leads her to the essence of transformation, and helps her to discover the inner dimensions of music, that she decomposes and analyses with passion. She assays musical composition as a medium of artistic expression and transposes visually the expression of harmony, combining various techniques and materials.

The painter analyzes the process of artistic creation, trying to find hidden meanings in the structure of material, down to a complete virtual dissection of the primordial elements. Using digital visual technologies, she is looking ardently for the “creative DNA”, and once found, she communicates it to the other with explosive enthusiasm.

The forms are revealed from invisibility, in Heidegger’s sense, while the unique process of artistic creation is brought to the light from its intimacy. Elena creates mysterious worlds through color, her characters and landscapes appear and disappear, in a perpetual game of interpretation belonging to the viewer. (Simona Tartacuta)
